"Farmland"

Well Folks, It is just as I had expected. Their are glyphs near the stone. A word of caution, you may be too late to do anything about the stone. Someone who knows my technique has advised the landowner to plow over the glyphs. Presumably they photographed them first. However, the may not know what to do with them. If this is true that means that the owner made up his mind already that he was going to get rid of any clues in the area so he could sell the stone. I wonder who could have promted that?

What they hadn't counted on is that the originators made the glyphs so durable they even survive plowing. I can see them anyway. There were definatly two to three visits to the site in the distant past. The triangle glyphs were used by the Vikings and their predecessors. The array glyphs were used by 14th century visitors and later. Now we have to examine the scope of the landmarks to see how far the originators had traveled.

The results are explained below:

Radials1

Back to Back Triangle Radials

Based on the boundries outlined here I would say the time period was in the Mid Exploration Period circa 1100-1200 AD. based on the location of the glyph and the boundries it mentions I would say this glyph was made around the same time as the Heavnor Stone and during the exploration of central America.

END POINTS FOR THE RADIALS IN THE ABOVE PHOTO

010 Degree Radial - West End of Lake Superior
061 Degree Radial - North Tip of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
092 Degree Radial - Southern Tip of Cape Charles Penensula, VA , Entrance to Chesapeake Bay
141 Degree Radial - Southern Tip of Florida Keys

Radials3

White Triangle Radials

This glyph seems to have been made about the same time as the first glyph. The thing that makes me doubt that it was made at the same time is that it is off to the side as is the third, and much later, glyph.

092 Degree Radial - Southern Tip of Cape Charles Pennensula, Entrance to Chesapeake Bay

Water Routes Into Interior Of North America
Based on the White Triangle Glyph

This is an illustration of the water routes that were depicted in the White Triangle glyph. Again you can see they cover pretty much the same geographical area as the first glyph.

Radials2

Radial Array

There is no doubt that this glyph is of much later origin. It's design is of a later period and the territory it covers is much larger. This glyph was made after the Sinclairs came to America in 1398 but before the boundry changes that occurred around 1600. Originally Central America and Mexico were slated to be part of the US.

END POINTS FOR THE RADIALS IN THE ABOVE PHOTO

018 Degree Radial - North Tip of Norway
042 Degree Radial - Edinburgh Scotland
074 Degree Radial - Newport Tower
078 Degree Radial - Gulfo de Cintra Glyphs, West Africa
174 Degree Radial - Galapagos Islands, Part of an Old North American Land Claim
303 Degree Radial - Northwest Corner of the US

As you can see the US claim had grown between 1000AD and 1500AD.
